Could it be that a vehicle entering the intersection crashed into the corner light pole and the li'l blue Opel passing through was inadvertently speared? Don't see any blood so some sort of magic saved the driver. Normally, wo air bag deployment the inertia of the impact would have moved the driver toward the danger path. The seat belt may have restrained the driver just enough for safety. Maybe someone else can build on this. Interesting point is that the only obvious sheet metal damage to the skin is where the pole exited through the door.
