Depends on the sushi bar and chef I think, I'm pretty sure we all have our favorite bar and chef....here's mine

1) Japanese Makarel
2) Uni (yes sea urchin-Japanese preferred)
3) Salmon
4) Unagi
5) Albacore
6) Spicy Crab Meat Tempura Roll
7) Honey Walnut Shrimp Roll
8) Spicy Scallop Roll
9) Lobster Roll
10) Stinking Roll (California Roll, but glazed with garlic butter on the outside)

1-5 are almost always ordered, 5-10 are ordered occasionally (try not to order rolls to much)

***My favorite sushi bar: My wife and I frequent Sushi Hirosuke in Encino. Once and awhile we make it out to Matsuhisu in LA.
Matsuhisu is good, but you need to come to NY. If you ever visit, give me a ring. I'll take you to the best of the best. It will blow your mind, but it's not cheap. Omikase for two will run you around $500 including tax and tip. We could do Masa's, but that will run around $600 per person. Hahahaha! These places though are all about the freshest and most exotic fishes. If you're looking for rolls though, this is not the place. It's 100% authentic.

PS - John, Nerwyll, Ryan - Great seeing you guys on Wednesday during my brief visit to LA. Thanks for meeting up for sushi. Hope to see you all soon!
