speaking of which, i just go the EVDO card from sprint for my laptop.
i get about 400k average, about 1Mbps when near a cell tower.
it's amazing though that i can take work anywhere now. well,
i take that back - anywhere that sprint covers, i should say.

is that progress, or just another electronic leash?

daydok
how consistent is it?

I'm looking into getting this as well for 1 of my remote trucks

its getting equipt with a CF-29 & needs WAN access ... to access data at the office.

where do you work? usenet? its a bit high for just webhosting ...?

EDIT: judging by the traffic patters ... maybe it is webhosting? large scale ISP? - this MRTG graph is pulled from your GSR? what kind of equiptment is this, and interface are you running on it? thats alot of traffic. ..

Probably not large scale ISP - at least not a core link. Way too asymmetric. It could be something in an ISP's customer aggregation chain but it wouldn't make sense for Busta to be sitting there. Could be one of the interconnects for an ISP's data center.

Likely 10GigE or OC-192.

Your percent utilization looks a little high.
