Guns and Roses played two years ago at the Worcester Centrum with the "new" band... It was pretty good... And they said during the show that Chinese Democracy was going to be out by the summer... That was two years ago and already was delayed almost two years. Of course they were 2.5 hours late for the show... But when they finally started they ripped it...
And Nickle-Back isn't even music, never mind R&R!!!

Picked the album up today, and I have to say I think it's very good. Some of the tracks sound like the GNR of old, some sound like how I think they would sound today had they stayed together, and some sound totally different. Axl is on form, the musicianship is top drawer, and the production is excellent - some parts are just incredibly well produced. All in all, it's much better than I thought it might be and I think it'll be a grower. If you liked the GNR of old, this is a well worth a listen

I actually listening to the new disk right now. 
Just a few songs into it and it sounds pretty good. It's just hard to equate this with old G'n'R as it's been SO long between new releases. I mean if they had been producing a regular flow of music the past 17 years would it sound like this now? 
All in all it's not old Guns, but it is REALLY great to hear some new stuff from them (him?) after all these years!
