The OEM version is very cheep indeed. Only 99? The only difference to the retail version is the nice and shiny packaging and telephone support for free. There's really no more difference. The software is 100% the same.

I bought a new Palm Pre and a clearbra kit for it last week. Splitting my voice and data up, I plan to only do data stuff on the device. So far, it's a phenomenal piece of kit and the Sprint network is like an empty highway - faaast.
