No surprise here. MB has been a preennial cellar-dweller in reliability ratings. What should this model be any different.
To be fair, I wouldn't want to buy the first-year model run of any sophisticated car, including the F10. BMW's rollouts of new models have not always been trouble-free either.

I guarantee you that while MB's ad firm may not be fired as a result of this flub, the poor junior bastard responsible for the day-to-day production of that ad is toast. Someone's head will have to roll to repent to MB who should be justifiably enraged at its ad agency.
