The last time I used a valet my car went missing for 40 minutes? one of the valet drivers took it to go get dinner for himself?. long story short my 7 guests and I ate dinner for free that night, he lost his job and I got a free detailing b/c the ass went and got chicken wings and spilled that shit on my seats... I will never use one again? I rather look for a spot and walk?the best part of it all was seeing his face when I caught him?it was priceless!!!

Yeah, I don't valet unless I can park it myself and keep the keys. One time I valeted my car at the Westin Bonaventure in Downtown LA, got it back with mud splashed up all on the sides. Now please explain to me where there is mud in downtown.

I never valet, unless:

1. they park it at the front of the establishment, or
2. they let me park it in the valet parking space, and
3. give the key back to me
Good advice. I have been successful with this at high rise condos, local restaurants etc. However, South Beach hotels etc. will not work. There is such limited space/parking that most hotels lease space at remote lots and garages. There is no close/local parking. In addition to this... these guys are parking $100,000.000 cars all day. A five year old 5 series will get no special attention. If you want to be there... park it. You want special concessions... bounce. That's just how it is here.

What's a "valet"? you kidn'? I'd rather have a drunken homeless guy perform a brain surgery on someone, who's 7 figure life insurance has me listed as the benefactor

Seriously, though, I have a manual transmission, so valet is a NO-NO-NO-NO-NO! just like that song goes

I don't think a $10.00 tip will trump the valet's testatrone...

Disgusting video. Everyone should see that. Disgusting restaurant owners and valet company owners!

dang.... The restaurants they filmed are the restaurants I go every month
I go to LA for a weekend getaway every couple weeks and I always visit the Ivy.
The funniest thing was one of the valet guy(at the Ivy) on the news took care of me well
after I paid $20
It was good to see him on TV lol.
