the calibration issue is going to be addressed in an update. It's mentioned on the support page and FAQ that just went online today on the developer's website. I've run the app in my wife's car, and it seems to be pretty accurate. Haven't been able to try it in mine but will when I can.

Can any one of you Apple dudes tell me if these iPhone apps will also work on an iPod touch? (My understanding of the touch is that it's pretty much an iPhone without the phone part.)

Also, is the new 2.0 software available for the touch as well?

Most of the apps are for both but look before downloading...

And yes, 2.0 is for the touch as well. I loaded it on my touch a couple of weeks ago, works well.

For those with calibration issues:

The developer has updated the application to fix the problem and has delivered the revised code to Apple. It's yet to be posted to the app store but should be up any day. The iPhone will automatically check for application updates and will pick up that there is new version when it is posted. Look out for the indicator on the app store icon on your iPhones or check manually over the next few days to see if it's up.

Edit - looks like the update is actually posted. I'll report back when mine is updated.

Later edit - works just fine. Calibration issue seems to be fixed.

So is the general consensus that this app is worth buying?

Just wondering...
