My favorite mountain-top town so far is San Casciano dei Bagnio. It's small and beautiful, with mineral baths. You won't find it without looking for it. Tuscany is full of beautiful hill towns. You can't go wrong. And when we say hills, we mean really steep hills, with narrow, twisty roads ideal for sport bike and sports cars, but very enjoyable in a Fiat 500 as well.
