Accidents happen all of the time on roads in the open, so why not in tunnels?

It's not as if there hasn't ever been an accident in e.g. the Mont Blanc tunnel.

when i was in l.a. couple weeks ago, a dodge durango did something similar to the bus in the clip and i was right behind him .

Bit of opposite-lockery on the part of the bus-driver saved his cab

Imagine being a rear seat passenger on that bus

Opposite-lockery certainly helped out but don't underestimate the role the tunnel wall played in helping to keep things under control!
