SO. I am sitting in my office upstairs checking my email and of course, the forums when i hear an awful crashing sound from the garage. i had just posted in the e60 discussion forum about haters, so now i am sitting here like "holy shit". I RUN down the steps to my garages, skipping most of them. Turns out my toolbox somehow fell and knocked over the latter leaning against the wall. AMAZINGLY, i had popped the hood before coming upstairs because i wanted the front end to cool faster so i can wax it. funny thing is, this is the first time i have EVER popped the hood so it can cool faster. Had the hood been closed, i definately would have done some damage. scratches if not a dent. I was moving stuff around earlier looking for my missing bottle of sealer and glaze, which most likely prompted the avalanche of tools and ladder.
I feel so lucky right now. here are the pics: notice the latter is just sitting on the weather stripping.

Anything that goes wrong in my household is always my fault. So assigning blame is easy.

Dude, you need to go do some volunteer work or take in a homeless person or something ... That was some serious intervention you had there...

Reminds me of a friend who had a $120,000 Porsche. His kid was getting a baseball bat from wall in garage, and bat fell of hood of his new Porsche. Car value dropped like $10,000 or more cause you just cannot match the paint.
