I am very lucky in my career and don't want for work. One of my ways of getting it is that my clients know that I would never churn a case to churn a case. You have to think long term in my business and there is no better way to lose a client than to litigate the hell out of a case that can and should be settled. And many, if not most, commercial cases are better off settling than being tried.

But there are some cases where you have no choice but to litigate and try them -- especially if the other side is seeking a ton of money but has a crappy case on the merits but yet does not want to settle.

Haha, that's a funny one. I'm back now and I think I'm back to nearly 100%. This trip really sucked a lot out of me. Turned out that we worked 11 hrs. days on mostly 4 hrs. sleep every night. The HK side trip was the highlight of the trip.

That's too bad. The HK forum guys are great and I would love another chance to see them again.

I chose the wrong words. We needed to get to HK to fly back home, but I decided to extend my HK stay by one day. Looking back, I should have extended my stay by at least a week. HK and HK people rock and the women are absolutely to die for (hey, a guy gotta look).

Sounds cool, if you have any advice on what/where to see/do/go/eat in HK you could PM me. I'm off on a trip to Shanghai in 2 weeks (spend 50-60days/yr there) and figured I should spend a w-e in HK but I've never been there before so I could always use a tip or 2.

I'll PM you in a couple of days. I'm working from home today and tomorrow, and I have left all my receipts at the office and I don't remember the names of the restaurants I went to, right off the top of my head.
