It's winter tyre change day Friday for me, so Thursday is my last day of being unrestricted in terms of speed limits.
Can I get a sympathetic Aaaaaah up in here (I'm guessing no
).
...and just in time too. There's 1 metre (3 feet) of snow predicted for tomorrow just 50 miles south of here. Not sure how much we'll see of that.

I always knew about the winter tire laws - never knew there was a speed restriction though.
Maybe its because you are using dedicated winter tires while I used M+S rated tires.....

For those of us restricted to a lowly 65 (unless you live in Montana on a nice day) we would love ONE unrestricted day a year.

I'd quite like some SoCal weather too. It'd be nice to not have to clean my car every 3 weeks. That drive-thru costs a whole ?5 you know. If Conan wasn't lying the other night, he said it hadn't rained in L.A. since May.
