i was going through some bills and came across this ticket. i'd almost forgot about it. the only slack he cut me was not writing me up for reckless driving. probably too cold and early for paper work and waiting for a tow truck to impound the ride. i was hoping that him putting the wrong year of car that i may get out of it. but, i have a feeling it's not gonna happen. i think i even have to write the judge or go to the court to get traffic school. something about being 25+ over the speed limit.
worst part is i'm driving to vegas for new years. those long desert miles are going to take forever driving at or near the speed limit.

OUCH! I'm currently awaiting a photo radar ticket in the mail. I believe I was also doing 20+ when the picture was taken.. I was late to a Holiday party a week ago. DANG!!! I don't think you'll be able to get out of the ticket due to the year of the vehicle. I mean, he has correct license plate information. Just suck up the ticket and hit up traffic school, no points and insurance issues. You'll pay a decent amount for the speed though. Regarding that long drive, I'm sure you can safetly travel up to 10MPH over the posted limit. Anything over the limit is a risk though. Just asses the risk you are willing to make for 20-40 minutes earlier arrival time.
Have a great time in Vegas!

i left the valley (L.A.) at about 3:30 am headed to Norcal for thanksgiving. No cars open road. the car was brand new and to be honest new I was speeding, but had no idea that I was going that fast. In my Pcar I know when i'm breaking 100+ mph. Plus i'd just passed a chp with someone pulled over. i didn't have a v1 but my escort. thought i was still getting hit by his radar. hopefully that v1 gets here before the trip.
i didn't know they used photo radar in AZ. out here we have it for the redlights, but not speeding. is that a new thing? we always get the radar trailer that let's us know our speed. but, it doesn't issue tickets.

I believe its new. I got hit in the middle of 2 lights, which about 3 miles apart. It was about 8PM and rather dark, I could see the road though. Out of no where, FLASH! and I was blinded for about 3 seconds. There was a car in the left lane doing about 35. This was a 45 zone BTW. I did what I hate doing, passed on the right side. I of course had to pick it up, but not really. So, I was doing about 65ish when I pass him. So just as I did, I got the flash. Anyway, there are certain cities that are putting these things up. They are really turning a profit on them. The city of Scottsdale even put it on the freeway.
