Prolly gonna only stay one or two nights. I was thinking about stopping by the D1 GP at Englishtown Raceway and then shooting over to AC to spend a night. I'm not much of a gambler, but it'd be nice if someone can tell me how to get a great deal on a room. I hear these days there's only one place to stay in AC - Borgata. Checking their site - shows me price of 459 for one night - way too high IMO. Anyone know any "secrets", please?
Thanks y'all!

AC is hurting for business ... but this weekend is Labor Day, one of their busiest and most expensive holidays of the year. Unless you must stay on the boards (Boardwalk) try one of the chain hotels just outside AC ... OR, call and negotiate. The Tropicana often has deals on their website - it's a decent hotel casino but is under more financial pressure than some of the others.

good points, usually the prices have been dropped about 50% since last year, but during the holiday weekends they are just booked up unless u are a player
id stay at the new tower at Harrah's if I were you, its nicer than the old tower at Borgata and a bit cheaper, and more importantly, Harrah's now has the best "club" there which is actually a swimming pool dome they just built with all hottubs and cabanas to rent and so on,its very nice, check out their website
just one thing to remember if you go here, only stay in the NEW tower, the old one is cr*p rooms and smelly!
