That article struck a chord with me. I had a sister who was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 19 or so. She beat it once, she didn't make it when it came back a year or two later. She would have been 40 this year. She had a boyfriend at the time she was diagnosed, someone who stuck with her right through to the end, much like the guy in the article. I'll always be grateful to him for what he did and for him staying by her side. I know how much that meant to my us and to sister, so I know how this young lady's family must feel about Matt.
