My mother was Irish and my father was Iranian so most of our summer holidays were spent in airport security

LoL, it was called "The Terminal".
Did you see the film with Tom Hanks? I think it was called "The Departure Lounge" or something along those lines where he was a "non citizen" stuck between imigration and American soil fo months. Pretty good film and I believe it also starred Catherine Zeta Jones as the air stewardess he fell in love with. I gotta tell you that he was the second guy to fall for her, cos I was first! She is from South Wales too!
