Kinda bored today so my Dad and I went to a new range that just opened, called "Shoot Straight".
We had just picked up a Bulgarian AK from a gun show a week before...and wanted to try it out...the ammo we were using was older than many members on this board  Russian Surplus ammo from 1984...had a lot of mis-fires and one or two jams but the gun is new so a couple jams are normal. Great fun though. There was actually a mis-fire in the second shot in the video... Enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Kc8DcJJy98 -Krozi BTW, burnt my thumb while I was trying to get the damn plastic POS mag out...we need to pick up some metal ones. Also, 1984 was the year that the movie "Red Dawn" was released  And if anyone has read the book 1984...I got some humor out of that also  |
You need to move to AZ where everything is full auto, at the gun clubs.

I can do that down here too...you just need a license to do it...you can modify the gun real easily to make it full auto anyway... |

This is from the Scottsdale Gun Club, when I was there in December. This is the "Auto Wall". LOL! Every gun on this wall was for rent and for sale -- and no license was needed. Just a quick background check and I could walk out with this strapped over my shoulder, down the street. LOL! Hahahaha! What a state! Gotta love it! Attachment 108550 I shot the P90 and the MP-5K, in the full auto section. The Belgian P90 was by far, my favorite. Only problem -- I went through $800 in rounds in less than an hour. LOL! For the full auto version of the P90, they wanted $20K. Cheaper than headers! LOL! Attachment 108553 Here were a few other guns for sale. This is the Barret 50 Caliber, which was in the movie, The Hurt Locker. Longest recorded kill was 1.3 miles by a Canadian Sniper on a Taliban in Afghanistan in 2004. Attachment 108551 And then there was the Gaitling Gun, which was for sale too. Unfortunately, we couldn't shoot this at the club. LOL! Check out the green bow -- imagine throwing this thing under the Christmas tree! Hahahaha! Attachment 108552 |
