This poor kid has been unfairly ridiculed on the internet for his unusual mannerisms. The link below provides a better perspective on this young boy's real genius.

Kimmel was an *hole to make fun of a kid like that. Evan's parents were right there with Kimmel for allowing that interview and ridicule to happen. I hope Jimmy enjoyed his bullying of a young kid; but maybe it helped his own self-esteem. Evan is definitely different than the mainstream, but that does not mean he deserves that kind of treatment. Would be right up there with making fun of the Special Olympics kids that swim at our aquatics center pool every Sunday afternoon rather than admiring their effort and committment.

This CNN announcer can't enounciate or else can't read. That's the whole problem. These announcers are placed for appearances, not capability. It's a shame the newscasters as a whole are unable to speak clearly and correctly (on US TV). This kid is great, he can enounciate and has excellent grasp of the English language, although living a sheltered life and speaks quietly.
This is just one reason why I now read the news off the web rather than watch CNN.

Give me a break, Kimmel didn't insult anyone, the kids parent were laughing. Jimmy by far has the best late night show. Jimmy's monologues are the best. On Fridays he has the FCC Unnecessary Censorship, that sh*t is funny.

The interview by Jimmy was alright, something that you would've expected from late night talk shows.
But the spelling bee competition was unnecssary The kid was all serious about the competition but Jimmy just see it as a joke.

You guys all blame is unnormalness because hes suffering from a disease. My personally opinion, he's odd because he's homeschool. When was the last time you meant a normal homeschool kid? That's like meeting a stripper who has straight A's and parents don't have problems.
