This was posted back in April, but the application seems to have undergone a lot of revision and it's now also available for the iPhone
Just tried it, and it seems to work as advertised - it reported a number of locations where I know there are occasional speed traps near where we live.

Uses the built in GPS and it alerts you to speed traps, red light cameras etc.
