someone broke into my house last night

My Ride: 2013 535i xDrive AW/Black M-kit
around 10pm to 1am someone brok into a window in my house while my family was sleeping, went in my garage broke my garage door and stole my 2008 cbr 600rr. im so pissed and worried that someone would break into my house while we are sleeping. police came this morning and pretty much did nothing. whats wrong with people these days?? i live in a very upscale community. it seems someone was casing my house. this was very planned and the thief knew what he was comming to get. i think there were 3 sets of foot prints in the house. my thoery is they knew i have multiple motorcycles so they planned to steal all 3. lucky for me 2 of them are in the shop. well actually lucky for me they did not come upstairs and threaten us. times like these make me feel like were all alone and noone can protect my family except for me.
im in central NJ but i have reason to believe the person who stole it could be from NY. i was selling the bike and someone from NY was scheduled to come take a look at it last week but never showed.
be safe guys
if by any small chance anyone sees this bike please contact me or the police asap. its kind of hard to miss and theres not too many orange hondas running around with custom exhaust and tail lights.

That sucks!! No doubt you were being cased by the prospective buyer and are damn lucky they came for the bike and not into doing personal harm!
Doesn't sound like they were drug starved amateurs but instead are experienced thieves stealing to fill custom orders!

we have a laser "chime" like a convenience store in our garage, if it goes off in the late night, i'm charging in w my 12 guage
