Hey there are some decent golfers in here.
Trunk size is a pain on the E61 as well, not quite wide enough, nor long enough to fit the bag in. Have to put it in diagonally, nearly cost BMW a sale !
As my wife (H/Cap 10.5) and my daughter (H/Cap 13.5,........at 12 yrs old !!) also play, it is a bit of a struggle getting them all in.
It also upsets the dog when he has to sit on the golf bags !
Never mind, as my handicap is 12.5 I have resolved to give the game up if....................no when,.......I become the highest handicapper in the house.........................does the dog count?

I finally got to a 9 about 2 1/2 years ago. Haven't played since then. I used to teach my son then he switched to skateboarding.
Anyways, I went to Big Island (island of Hawaii for you non locals) yesterday and saw some awesome golf courses. I think I got the itch again and will probably start again soon.
Maybe we could have an E60 golf tournament.
Just an idea.

I'm playing off 8 at the moment - I found it relatively easy to get to 10, but since then I've hit a wall, probably due to ONE BAD HOLE ruining my score now
I need to upgrade my kit also, currently playing a set of '97 Titleist DCI with tour lofts, these are a great club but they need reshafting/regripping for sure.
I also have an old Titleist Starship driver - I used to think this thing was the king of clubs until I hit my father's TaylorMade XD90 - and put at least 25 yards on my drive. Maybe a treat for me in the summer
I love golf!

I've had 4 full sets and 3 trolleys in my e61 - take the woods out lay the bags straight across, woods then go diagonally, - for trolleys as well - pull rear net up.
E61 performs great on golf tours!
You could always shorten your driver

You could always shorten your driver
- lose distance but enhance accuracy.

Had a Lincoln Town Car rental in Palm Springs this week. Lousy handling, but I have to admit that the trunk space (plenty of room for 4 sets of clubs) was a strong recommendation for this vehicle, especially on trips to places like Palm Springs!
By the way, if in Palm Springs area, you MUST play the Desert Willow Firecliff course. It's great! And a municipal course, of all things (with a $170 green fee, it must be admitted).
