Agreed, there are some really cool cops out there - just like any other group there are A-holes too and they get the majority of the press so good cops get a bad rap. You will never hear positive stories on the news at night

+1 The cop has a job to do, I understand that. Besides, you will always lose that pissing contest, it you choose to be an A-hole they will happily show you that they can be a bigger one if you push them. Be courteous and be there 5-10 mins, be an A-hole and you will be there a lot longer and get a bigger ticket.
