They are predicting on the order of 6 to 12 inches of snow in Northern Virginia this weekend. I am in West Virginia on a business call (about 4 hours from my home in Reston Virginia). My drive will take me through the mountains heading back to the DC Metro area. I should be on the road before the snow starts falling - I am glad for that! However, when I get home, I am sure I will get a chance to check out my new Blizzaks!

I was living in MD back during the blizzard of 93. I was at my g/f's apartment in Rockville that night and spent the entire next day digging out of snow. It took me two hours to drive home (normally 45 minutes) in my Camaro (Damn it was fun drifting in that car). I knew some people who lived in W-VA who couldn't drive to/from their homes for about 3-4 days afterward.
That area has some of the most beautiful scenery and winding roads on the east coast, but man it can be a bear in winter. Have fun with those Blazzaks and stay safe.

Hope the snow doesn't continue during the week. Hopefully the roads would be free of snow and clean by Dec. 23rd. I'll be heading down to Florida with my summer wheels and tires.

Only 6-8 inches of snow here. The snow should have come Sunday night because then we would have had a snow day.
