9:30am this morning, bright daylight, quiet city street, just a few cars on the road.
Pulled over for, wait for it, ...
Speeding? NO.
Illegal lane change? NO.
Red light, stop sign? NO.
Tint on front windows ONLY! Really?

Okay, so here an update... With much pain, I removed the tint from the front windows.
I look on-line for vehicle inspection stations. Website says "INSPECTION TIMES 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m." No mention if limited to Mon-Fri, no Sunday, etc., nothing.
So, I assume that it would be open on Saturday. The old saying, "you know what happens when you ASSUME" turned out to be true, because, I waited 30 min (as instructed by the signs on site) and nobody ever appeared. Then, I traveled to the Police Station (the very station from where the Officer who cited me is based) and was informed that they don't sign off on the tickets. Let me get this straight... they issue the tickets but won't take a moment to step out from behind the desk to confirm that it is fixed?

That is what I thought was the problem in the first place. The cop passed me and made a u-turn as I was traveling at 25mph. I figured it had to be the front plate... nope, just the tint.
