Has anyone else here also done the quadfecta ?
Owned left hand drive cars and driven them on the left (UK) and on the right (all over europe).

Fun moment for me once. I'd spent a long time in Frankfurt driving a German rental car, left hand drive car on the right side of the road. Then I flew back to the UK and rented a car there. Got in, drove up to the security bar/barrier thing which is supposed to move up automatically for people leaving. It didn't move. I shouted at it, didn't help. I looked bewildered at it and it still didn't move. Then someone from the outside of the car park drove up to it on the same side of the road I was on and it lifted up automatically and he started moving towards me. Quick into reverse and flip lanes and left. Embarrassing

Thanks for that.Every country that I have visited over the last 25 years drives on the right which is opposite to the UK.Once I have adjusted the seats and mirrors on the rental car everything is just automatic although I do recall a few hairy moments the first time I drove on the right.
