You are right about this thing, unobtainium. You've got me looking for this thing now I've tried the Internet, WorldWideWeb and the Information Superhighway...nothin.

Nope. I'm not a watch aficionado. Anyhow, I'm getting her a purse as well. I need to make her forget the amount of money I've dropped into both my 545i and E63.
I've had to do the purse thing for my wife too! Unless you can get away with the knockoffs (I can't), eluxury.com is the only authorized dealer for most REAL brands (+ no tax!) For the watch unless your going for high end like Rolex ...keep it simple and hit up Costco at least you know your getting a ball park good price and again the real deal.

My wife is looking for boobs this year...anyone have the low down on these in so cal?

I was never a watch guy. My wrist is small so most men's watches do not look right. Neither was my wife until she just felt like it one day and we ended up getting his and hers Rado watches from my friend's jewelry store. This was the only one I found that was small and slim enough to look right on my wrist.

From your budget Joe, I think Omega has some nice watches. So does Rado and a bunch of other brands out there. You'll have to narrow down your search a bit more by know what style she likes..etc.. The only easy way is if she has a particular interest with a certain brand to make it easier for you to choose.

That said....forget watches and purses and listen to Heloha. Get 'em boobies! At least you both can enjoy that gift. =)

Joe, forget the purse+watch combo and just spend a little more on a nicer watch. I spent $2K on my g/f's birthday this year on some lame Chloe bag from South Coast Plaza that for the life of me can't understand why it costs so much. It looks like some old ladies purse w/ a heavy chain. I keep telling her to use it since 'it's a waste' but she never does. She'll probably start using it once she breaks up with me or something So in conclusion, just buy her a nice watch.

Patrick,
Easy for you to say. Her birthday and Christmas are 5 days apart. She and a few other people I know, who have birthdays close to Christmas, do not like receiving a combined birthday/Christmas gift. Go ballin' on one and cheap on the other? Not on my life...

Dude, she's only your girlfriend. You need to set the correct expectation before you guys get married. You are letting yourself get run over: $1 Meal for bday, quarter-pounder combo for Xmas. HAHAHA
