That car is awesome. BMWs of that vintage remind me of the time when I was a kid (the 1970's) and my dad and I would go to BMWCCA events and we'd see cars like that.
I still remember my dad's maroon, heavily modded 1976 2002 like it was yesterday.
Hmmm....now if I could convince my wife to let me have a second car....

Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Dark Poplar Trim, Steptronic, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Bluetooth, Adaptive Control Xenons. 10/30/07 Added OEM 124s with 245/40/18 & 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. Woah, what a rare find. I've never seen one for sale, only in magazines. Craigslist? That thing should be at Barrett-Jackson!

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
Some BMW fan may well go for a E9 classic.
Nice looking car, but me I would go much rather for the E24.
