My Ride: 2005 545i with Sport Pkg, Nav, HUD, Cold Weather Pkg, Rear Shades
I was watching some show on PBS a few weeks ago and the old limo was featured for a few minutes. Apparently it can withstand missle attacks, and has indestructible tires.
Here's something from Wikipedia on the 2005 limo that President Bush uses .... Link

Yeah, the local DC news was saying that it seals the environmentals entirely, so it would be impervious to airborne agents and attacks. they also showed one of the doors opened - it's super thick. They said just the bulletproof glass used in the car is heavier than most cars in their entirety. They held up a piece of it, and it was probably about 3 inches thick.

Take a look at the link in the following post to learn more about the company that makes these Presidential limos, etc.
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=167422
The link is currently down so here's an alternative link to the "history" portion of the BAE Systems website (which looks like they may have purchased O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt, the company that used to make all these armored cars for diplomats, etc.
