Woke up this morning and had to euthanize the "old salt"; he was old, partly blind and was having a rough time eating. I didn't want him to suffer or starve any longer. I tried to carefully hand feed him but his appetite just wasn't there.
RIP "HANNIBAL"; like his namesake he was one tough SOB; he was a beautiful (& large; over a ft. long & wide) specimen
