Here's a little tidbit about the new Pope.
...In 1943, at the age of 16 he was, along with the rest of his class, drafted into the Flak or anti-aircraft corps, responsible for the guarding of a BMW plant outside Munich.
Does that mean that the new popemobile will now be a bimmer?

Along with that. The previous pope John Paul II helped Holocuast victims in Poland during WWII while BMW was one of many companies who profited from the Jews of the Holocaust.

My Ride: 2011 520dA coming up.
Don't know what to think. He definately served under Hitler.
Bet there's going to be a lot of speculation on whether that was voluntarily or not.
And what was his fathers role in WW2?
Pope #265 is conservative that's for sure and he is 78 years old. Is he an in between?
