Linux is an OS vs. computer. But if we're on OSes then we're missing a few options... if we're talking computer we're missing a few too. o:)

yup, and you need to expand to those who are forced to use a PC at work, but thankfully Home is for Macs...we need full OS choices as well (including OS 9.2)

...i would have answered that I have a Mac G3 tower with a G4 chipset, dual boot running 9.2 and OS X.2, an IBM laptop running XP, and a dell tower running XP which is my home wi-fi network, with a Nortel VPN client for telecommuting....

....in the office its a compaq running XP, with Novell desktop management running Zen 6.5

sorry... :bash: you are right... Linux is an OS...

At home for my real power hungry work I use a G5 MAC (with Virtual PC running Windows XP for other stuff) and several assorted P4's with various OS's on them.

85%+ of the people use Intel base systems, and there is no choice for P4 and above. What's going on??

I am a big AMD fan. AMD 64 x2 rocks!!!!

TOSHIBA P4 3.6 Gig Windows XP

When I stated P4 and Above I was think of newer chip's such as Opteron or the new AMD which I like as well.
