Mel, With all due deference to those involved in this accident--and I truly hope all are well as was just reported at 5 PM--how can you blame these guys?

Definitely an excellent job by the pilot and crew.

According to what I saw they got women and children out first followed by male passengers and the Captain remained on board and walked the plane several times to ensure all passengers were out before he exited the aircraft.

Definitely falls in the miracle category in my book.

Great Job!!

My brother-in-law is a pilot for a commercial airline and he said "hats off to the pilot!" Great thinking and lots of experience under his belt did the job, he had over 19,000 hours of flight which is very good! Thank God everyone is fine. Just spoke with my mom in NYC and she said that it was chaotic...

I was just watching it one the news. It's really amazing. I think that photo of like a hundred passengers just standing on the wing of the aircraft is amazing.

I heard about this as I was waiting to board a flight home from Boston. That was crazy. Luckily every one made it out just fine. What a story!
