Friend is selling a 00 E46 with 100k miles thats been maintained for about $3500. Its a alpine white but the its seen better days. I was thinking of painting the car Laguna Seca Blue. I honestly love this color.

After reading around a bit I am guessing it would cost around $2500 including everything. What is the best way to do this? Any of you guys ever paint a car ?

Ask John, "brabusw209amg"
He repainted his car when he got his Rieger kit installed. Laguna Seca Blue is a HAWT color

LSB is very HOT!! LSB, Techno violette, Phoniex Yellow great colors. The E46 M3 lineup had great colors. SSM/Interlagos Blue are also good but E46 colors were MUCH MUCH better!

It *might* be called Bundeswehr Gr?n (army green):

You can be sure nobody would steal it if it was that green colour.

Hopefully the purple over the green

Why do you want an old e46 over your current car anyways?

According to bbk.com a 2000, E46 with 100K miles and minimal options is worth $8,560 in 'excellent shape." The paint job will surely upgrade the car to "Excellent status" condition, so you do the math.

Well, it'd upgrade the paint job to be excellent status. What about the rest of the car (engine, interior).
