Friend is selling a 00 E46 with 100k miles thats been maintained for about $3500. Its a alpine white but the its seen better days. I was thinking of painting the car Laguna Seca Blue. I honestly love this color.
After reading around a bit I am guessing it would cost around $2500 including everything. What is the best way to do this? Any of you guys ever paint a car ?

Are you considering the purple or green?
Why do you want an old e46 over your current car anyways?

According to bbk.com a 2000, E46 with 100K miles and minimal options is worth $8,560 in 'excellent shape." The paint job will surely upgrade the car to "Excellent status" condition, so you do the math.
