December 6th 2008 at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. The most sponsored boxing event ever!
Anyone else looking forward to this fight?

Anyone have any predictions here? Would love to hear what you guys think since this is a very controversial fight with De La Joya cutting weight and PACMAN moving up 2 weight classes. It's going to be a straight up "MEXICANS Vs PINOYS"night... Pacquiao has already taken out all the legendary Mexican boxing champs... will De La Joya have the answers for his country's pride & glory?

I hope so, but i've been seeing alot of pre-fight press on these two and the media seems to focus on Manny Pacquiao. All his interviews he's bombarded by the press and seems to be distracted with all the madness around him especially when he's working out in the gym.
De La Joya on the otherhand seemed more focused in his training and not distracted by the media.
I have to say i'm a little worried for Pacman. I hope he gets it together this week.

Meh, not a big traditional boxing fan (kick-boxing is another story). But, I think De La Hoya is done. He's got good name recognition that he'll use to make millions on fights, win or lose. No different than some other professional athletes toward the end of their careers. 2 cents.
