My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets.
First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.
Just wondered if your Teutonic fascination extends into other products?
For me, they include: Leica and Rollei cameras, Volkl skis (and rackets), BMW motorcycles, ADS (aka Braun) stereo, and IWC, the most-German Swiss watchmaker.
I'm sure there are other incidentals but was interested in how you purchase in the global market?
Cheers,
Ray Hull

LOL/touche, Vnod.
If you study my Avatar, you'll see my Newfie in the center (or at least his pink tongue). I'm sure he'd enjoy meeting your short-legged pals.
Cheers,
Ray

I do see his tongue, and the pic you posted is pretty funny.
But, now back to our regularly scheduled program. I have a Braun shaver, but that's all I can think of, and I doubt it was made in Germany. I feel like a traitor. Wait, how about a Glock 40 Cal.? Glocks are made in Germany, right?
We sat at a dinner table next to two young female school teachers from Bavaria in Levanto, Italy last summer. They were from Bavaria and were incredibly nice, intelligent, knowledgeable, and articulate in English. They helped us map out our next trip. Starting in western France, through the French and Bavarian Alps, and farther into Bavaria. They totally sold us on visiting Bavaria and on the people of Bavaria. We probably will go this summer or at least very soon. Does that count as Bavarian infatuation?
