Well Im a inner laser geek at heart. When I first saw this I thought there was no way I would buy it, and well today from peer pressure from other people who ordered one at work I bought one.

Its a 1W hand held laser, basically the most powerful hand held laser produced. This thing is EXTREMELY dangerous, and I don't even know where I'm going to even use it. It will have to be locked up just like a gun. This thing can literally burn stuff football fields away. I ordered it more as a investment because I know this will be banned very soon and similiar 1w lasers go for $15,000.

So this is a real laser - as in, it can actually cut through stuff? Somehow I'm having a hard time believing it, but dang, imagine the possibilities. Drive-bys will be real quiet now and the kids that used to use cardboard cutters - here's the next step. I wonder if this would get noticed if someone was to bring it onto like a subway or something... I don't care, actually. But still a pretty cool thingy. But yeah, Phil, good call on cancelling the order LOL when it sells for like 10g's you'll be one sorry puppy, but who cares - its all about safety, right?
