i am hesistating on buying this car for couple months already.
what you guys think on the car overall (04-06 cayenne), i drove couple times my friends car. i love the power , driveability - suv+sport+luxury , on the other hand bmw x5(07 and up) 4.8i - love the style (do not want to cheat on bmw), interior-exterior...but less power+ bit more$

There's something about Porsche Cayenne's that I don't like, but that's my personal opinion. Have you looked at Range Rovers?

My former next-door neighbor has one I believe is in that 04-06 range. He moved to Taos last year and drives it all over the place. He hasn't reported any issues to me.

talk to Dranged about owning one of these things. i can print out the receipts of the many thousands of dollars he's spent at my shop keeping this thing on the road. It looks cool and made his wiener longer but it's been a true drain on the wallet. not to mention the depreciation

HAHA! Sorry, Sean, poor choice of words. By "range" I meant my neighbor's Cayenne S is in the 2004-2006 MY category--not sure exactly which.
