Although I'm not too sure that they have much of a 4G deployment beyond the Olympic zone, you have to remember that the US (as well as other countries) have had 1G, 2G, and 3G for many years now. I'd much rather have a robust deployment of a slightly older technology than to have a small footprint of the latest, cutting-edge technology. In other words, how many people in China had cellular phones in the '80s? The '90s? My cell phone may not give me television right now but then again, I'm not so sure I need to watch television on my phone at all...
yes I go with that just like buying a car I will never buy new cars, never be a white mice.
wait for 1 to 2 years then buy it
alot of ppl get iphone and I beat that they will never use all the function on the phone
you are like me just use the same old phone until itis dead.
I still have my Ferrari phone from 3 years ago and will not change until itis dead.

Apparently the little girl singing, was actually miming, and it wasn't even her voice. The producers said that the girl who's voice it is was too ugly for the opening ceremony. so they got a stand in.

this brings back an embarrassing moment for my country of the philippines. roughly 10 yrs ago, our country won the little league world series. obviously, we were quite excited but we soon found out that the winning pitcher, among others, was 18 freakin' years old!!! this was LITTLE league, for kids that were 13-14 yrs old or younger!

needless to say, the joy & excitement quickly turned to and

i feel sorry for the girl who didnt get to come out, imagine what she has to live with for the rest of her life, "i couldnt go on tv because i was too ugly", thats gonna seriously lead to some self esteem issues

Thats just a rumor. China being the host country and cares so much about its image (which they had to use a prettier girl to lip synd). It would be a huge embrassment if that rumor was true. So, how would they risk it and do such things? IMO - They won the gold medals fair and square, so let them have their parade.
