I love this thread. It is a playlist for my favorite old scool hip hop stuff. My favorites are NWA's Staight Outta Compton and assorted Tupac and Biggie Stuff. Dr. Dre's The Chronic is also among the best in this genre.

Has to be Ice-T for me, definately my fave 90's rap 'Thats how i'm livin'. His spin off rock band Body Count was outstanding, best concert i ever went to.
I also quite like DMX, DMX's voice was made for rap.

I don't think of DMX as old school but I sure think that "Where Tha Hood At" is a classic.
That's why the best DMX stuff is on Ruff Ryders Vol 1,2,& 3 (Vol 4 kinda sucked)
