Biz Markie- Just a friend
The video has it all...friendship, drama, beautiful girls, a BMW, an homage to Mozart, the list goes on and on. It also represents the first time I heard the term "Oh, snap!" At least watch after 1:35.

I'm looking to put some new stuff on my iphone for music. I'm intrested in some old school hip hop, 80s or early 90's stuff. Can anyone recommend some good stuff to check out? I don't care much for rap/hip hop these days, finding good artists is a rarity with the crap they play.
but there are some goodies already noted, Sugar Hill Gang - Rappers delight is the original ofcourse........ but peps come on, jay- Z is not OLD SKOOL!!!!!! i draw the line at the Cronic, anything after this point is modern hip-hop & rap!

I love this thread. It is a playlist for my favorite old scool hip hop stuff. My favorites are NWA's Staight Outta Compton and assorted Tupac and Biggie Stuff. Dr. Dre's The Chronic is also among the best in this genre.
