I received this email from BMW CCA regarding their official credit card ... Does anyone here have it? It looks like it's an affinity credit card from PartnersFirst.
As noted,
As noted,
"If you currently have a BMW CCA credit card from Bank of America it is no longer the ?official card?--and you need to apply for our new card."
...
Here are some highlights of the new program:

I also received an invitation around 3:30pm. I thought that credit card companies were reducing customers balance and trying to limit their exposures due to "economic tsunami" we are going thru...I am curious to find out what is the APR after 6 months intro rate of 0%...

The most worthless credit card on the planet.
You get 1 reward point per $2 you spend.
Also you get noting for your points. For example 10,000 points gets you a $100 check towards maintenance/service.

I've had a BMW Bank credit card for years now, I always love when I use it some smart guy will ask, "Do you drive a BMW??" I usually say I drive a 1987 Corolla just to see the look I get!
I got money off on my last BMW (this card accrues points instead of miles, which are applicable to BMW purchases) which was cool as I was going to spend the money ANYWAY!

The BMW CCA card is not the same as the BMW Ultimate card. I have the BMW Ultimate Card and I've actually been quite happy with it. I would love the BMW CCA card simply because I would be support an org that I think is great but I don't really have a need for one more CC.
BMW CCA = Car club
BMW Card = BMW Bank of NA

FUCK Bank of America! I just transferred $9000 to Bank of America credit card because they advertised 0% APR on balance transfers. They charged me a 3% balance transfer fee/$270. You CAN NOT advertise 0% APR if you charge a transaction fee. BY LAW, THE TRANSACTION FEE MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE ADVERTISED APR. This allows consumers to compare various loan programs without the need to read the fine print!!!!! You are not allowed to HIDE your transaction fee in your disclosure statement without representing it in your advertised APR. THIS IS FRAUD!!!!!!... AND BANK OF AMERICA IS CURRENTLY RECEIVING BILLIONS OF DOLLARS FROM US IN A BAILOUT! I am writing my local officials and have contacted a lawyer regarding a class action lawsuit! Stay tuned.
