I am off to my favorite city in Europe. I usually see a lot of E60's while I am traveling in Belgium so Maybe I will see a few of you there.

Back on Sunday.

Enjoy the trip to the 'Venice of the North' !! Make sure they don't make too many pictures of your car driving on our highways ! We need to finance our social wellfare system...
We're also expecting some (belgian type) thunderstorms and hail later this afternoon and evening. I hope they got it wrong .

I'm jealous--it was one of my favorite cities when I lived in Amsterdam. Great place to buy tapestries.

I was there on Friday and Saturday - returned home to Scotland on the Superfast ferry Saturday evening. Travelled up from Freiburg on Friday morning. Did you get caught in the 15km tailback on the E40 on Friday late afternoon?

Yes, I caught a little bit of that traffic not far from Brussels.
The trip was awesome. There was a bit of rain as well but I still had a great time.

I think I may have my wife talked onto looking at Real Estate in Brugge!!!!!

I took pictures of about 4 E60's while there. I may have some of you on there.

Brussels traffic was bad - the Sat nav redirected me through the centre which I'm guessing although slow, was still quicker than the major jams on the ring road.

The E40 however was a nightmare - managed to turn off just after the overhead sign "10 km file" and take some back roads. It was pretty wet!!

Brugge is a lovely city - just a pity about all these bikes Did you hear the band in the market square on friday night?

I stayed in the Hotel Heritage (nice) and used their underground car park - so unless you saw me driving the car its unlikely I'm one of the pics - my numberplate has VME in it so you can check.

I was in Brugge long ago (maybe 1991?). Beautiful, relaxing city. Good food, good booze.
