My neighbor for over a year has been without a front plate on his E350 and I was wondering if its highly enforced in NY? I would love to take the front plate off.

 

All my cars have no plates on the front. No holes either for the brackets -- nice and clean. I told my BMW dealer that if my X5 had the front bracket mounted when I picked it up at delivery, I wouldn't take the car and would order a new one. I've been pulled over a few times, but I pull out my PBA cards and off I go.

No front plate for me either and no issues with the LAW..lol!

 

I will take it off tomorrow and get my keyed panel/door buffed.

its kinda like having dark tint on your car...if u run into a cop who has to meet his quota for the month, youll definitely get a ticket.

 

I got a ticket last week for not having my front plate on ... Cop took my PBA card and still gave me a ticket, what a douche!

 

LOL! no way! hahahahaha! that sucks!

 

BTW - Since you have the ticket with the officers name, you should have your friend that gave you the PBA card call him up. My friend told me he would do that, in the event the cop snagged it and did something similar. Unless of course, you don't have a good relationship with the cop that gave you your PBA card?
