In case anyone had any questions about how far-reaching the "Steeler Nation" goes, take a look here:

http://anon.nasa-global.edgesuite.net/anon...os/steelers.asx

I think it should now be called the "Steeler Universe"...

Here we go Steelers, here we go!

Ok so the time has come to choose who I am going to root for tomorrow in the Super Bowl, unfortunately based on my rooting record so far, the other team will be the winner.

First the breakdown:-

Both QBs have a SuperBowl win but Warner was MVP in his, Ben played poorly.
Ben makes plays when the protection breaks down, Warner gets sacked.
Ben might be a little dinged, Warner is healthy.
QB Advantage: Cardinals

Willie Parker is healthy and playing well averaging 97yrds/game in the postseason.
Arizona Has shut down Michael Turner, DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart & Michael Westbrook in the postseason, but can it continue.?
Edgerrin James & Tim Hightower combined for 112yrds/game in the postseason.
Pittsburgh has stopped all runners.
Running Game Advantage: Steelers

Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Bolden are the best receiving tandem in the NFL.
Santonio Holmes is good for at least one big play per game, but Hines Ward is dinged.
Wide Receivers Advantage: Cardinals

Heath Miller is one of the best Tight ends in the NFL.
Does Arizona have a Tight end.?
Tight End Advantage: Steelers

Arizona's defense has been playing well in the postseason.
Pittsburgh has the number 1 defense, nuff said.
Defense Advantage: Steelers

Who the hell knows about kickers?
Kicking Game Advantage: Even

So, I'll be rooting for the Cardinals while history says great defense beats great offense............,

the Pittsburgh Steelers win 31-17.
