Week 1:
I think it's time to start the annual football thread (even though in past years, it's been more of a playoff thread...)

Let the coach Tomlin era begin!

Here we go Steelers, here we go!

Can't get to exciting about football until two thinks happen:

1. Baseball season is over
2. The weather gets colder

Nothing too exciting going on here in LA as far as football is concern, for obvious reasons

Although many people like the fact that we get a lot more variety of games to watch on TV.

You guys are correct that it's tough to get into football mode when it's 80+ degrees outside but when the Steelers are playing Cleveland, all those things don't matter. The only thing that matters is:

Here we go Steelers, here we go!

Dont thank Michigan.
Michigan who?
Yeah, App. State and Ducks think they played against higschool squads the last 2 weeks.
About NFL? damn the Skins finally show some self respect.
And down go Eli again. the media will take blame on high expectation on Eli.
After the "dog fight", Hotlanta go down the drain.
Same old Raiders, a habbit of giving the game away after leading just ask cleveland last year and Detroid today.
T.O baby, he is cocky but who cares.
Oh yeah Chicago, keep doing lone FG during the rest of the season they will get 48 points total.
Indy still rules, this is Manning, not other kind of Manning which you could buy a dime a dozen.
Watch for Ten, they have been loading up good stuff in the wagon, it is time to show the league what they have been doing the last ...5 years...STOCK UP.
GreenBay, last time i check Brett was picking nursing home for himself, now he is throwing and upsetting the Eagles. Hmm, last dose of viagra should work for him, and it should last to the end of the season too or Lambeau Field will hang a sign "RETIRE NOW".
NewEngland huh, Brady never get old and tired, he just get better and well seasoned, watch him again you will might think he is conducting an orchestra. BEAUTIFUL. A Future Hall of Famer maybe.
Last note, who are Virginia Tech and Miami again?

Green Bay's win was a joke, they were handed that game. Brett didn't do crap. Eagle's special teams suck.

Just finished watching the Giants vs. Cowboys game, great game to watch, full of excitement.

Hopefully the Bengals can handle the Ravens Defense tomorrow night, go Bengals.

Side note: Go USC!

Disappointed that my Saints lost this past Thursday.
The Colts were just a MUCH better team.
However, Coach Payton will make some adjustments, and I have confidence that Reggie Bush & Company will make it deep into the playoffs again this year.

Yeah, the Saints. Last year TV showed and praised the Saints because why? Katrina Recovery in New Orleans, They want to promote businesses, the more you appear on TV the more attention you get, hence more business to the area therefore will help Katrina Recovery. Reggie Bush might be a good player, but the Saints? Hmm, maybe not a good team. NFC is packed of good teams, they better do more than what they did last year to even get in playoff this year, because why? Katrina Recovery Program faded, they will face their own true souls. Here is the predics what happened to the Saints according to their schedule.
@IND LOSE
@TB WIN (close game)
TEN LOSE (you wll be surprised why)
CAR LOSE
@SEA LOSE
ATL WIN
SF WIN
JACK WIN (smack JACK around for sure)
STL WIN
HOU WIN
CAR LOSE (again)
TB WIN (easy)
@ATL LOSE (payback)
ARI WIN
PHI LOSE (McNabb will beat the Saints by 7)
@CHI LOSE (Grossman showed the Saints who is the boss again)
8-8 will not do it for them, they need the help from losses or other NFC divisions, CAR owns NFC EAST. Period.
