WOW!...does that take me back. Looks like the plate my folks had on our car in the '50s.
Back then the first two letters of the plate were an abbreviation of the county you lived in.

Costs me $54 for two years. BUT, our esteemed legislature (in their ever money-grubbing ways) is now considering going the way of CA.

Personally, I don't care if it stands on a little piece of concrete that is officially a French colony. All I know is its best-viewable from NY side and the boats to the statue leave from Manhattan (even though, as a true New Yorker, I've never been there ).

But honestly, who cares really if its on the NY side or on the Jerz side? As long as we all realize that its on the NY side
