Anyway a bit offtopic: just wanted to clarify smth! I tohught that f1 cars had sequential gearboxes not manuals. The reason i say manual is the fact that the bmw f1 steering wheel (in particular) has on both the left side and the right side 2 padels that work the clutch. Also there are the traditional 2 padels for the gear change (-left +right). The clutch pedals, both of them do the same thing...engagin the clutch. So isn't that a bit hard i mean yeah you have to practise to get the hang of it but from what i've seen or better i heared the downsifts occur exactly as in a sequential gearbox. Or maybe the clutch is automtized when downshifting? Sometimes the car downshifts even 4 gears in a split of a second or so...
So anyone care to comment on that or enlighten me on this subject?
