My Ride: 2010 BMW 530i E61, alpine white, cream-beige interior, sports-auto-transmission and a lot more-
What makes me wonder is, if it's a general problem in the U.S, because I never heard of this problem on european cars, at least 335i.

My Ride: BMW 525i e60 (private) M-style,, Carbon Black, HUD, MM Interface.
And a BMW 325 e90 (Business),
I had 2 of them exchanged on my 325i.
I think most of them are actually the same part. In the 3 series l6 at least.
I am just waiting for the 3rd time and the dealer saying the car is out of warranty .
That is going to be a !VERY! interesting discussion.
