My son has to have surgery on his right hand tomorrow in Lennox Hills Hospital. . He has an overgrowth of the vein (looks like vericose veins) on his right hand(ring and pinky finger), which keeps growing and ultimately gives him pain.. We found an awesome specialist who specializes in Pediatric Vascular Malformations. . He is a pioneer in the field.. so were really happy about it. Anyway, just wanted to vent about it, keep him in your thoughts and prayers.. Mel

Mel - Being a parent, its tough to see your kids going through any kind of medical procedures. I wish him luck tomorrow.

Hey Mel, be strong for your son. You're probably more distraught than he is. These things are routine these days for these doctors. Im sure it will turn out great. When my boys have a cold, my heart aches. I cant imagine a surgery. I'd say break a leg but that probably wouldnt be appropriate here. Seriously, wish him the best from your E60 family. Looking forward to the healthy recovery story afterwards at dinner in Feb.

All the best

Sounds something similar to what my colleague's daughter had on her upper arm. Good luck Mel, thoughts and prayers for him.
